Students prepare to spread holiday cheer

ALBANY, GA. -- Kinchafoonee Primary School students have partnered with Scholastic to help children this winter.

Students and their families have collected 230 pajama sets for children of all ages.  The students say they wanted to give back to other children their age in Southwest Georgia.  9-year-old Abigail Haggerty says she’s happy to give back.  “It’s getting cold and its winter, and they need pajamas that are warm and cozy” says Haggerty.

When the pajama gifts are handed out next week the recipients will also get a book from Scholastic.
