A dog is reportedly shot by an air rifle

ALBANY, GA. -- The Albany Police Department responses to a case of animal cruelty Friday night.

The homeowner at 1210 9th Avenue reported that someone shot their dog with an air rifle.

The case is still under investigation.

If you have any information on who may have injured the dog you’re asked to call the Albany Police Department at 229-431-2100.
