A man is behind bars this evening after police say he opened fire in public

ALBANY, GA -- A man is behind bars after police say he opened fire in public.

Albany Police were called out to the Regency Club Apartments in the 2000 block of Tompkins Avenue at about 9:30 Saturday night.

According the police report someone started shooting in the air. One man was arrested. No one was hurt.
