Authorities seize guns, drugs, and make two arrests
MOULTRIE, GA -- Thursday afternoon a multi agency effort conducted a drug bust in Northwest Moultrie. Officers from the SWAT team, GBI, Moultrie-Colquitt Drug Enforcement Team, and officers from surrounding counties participated.
Officers confiscated 28 grams of cocaine, less than an ounce of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and four guns including two semi-automatics.
Police arrested 24-year-old Tyrus Williams and 34-year-old Cedric Gilbert.
Williams is charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana, burglary, and four counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Gilbert was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana, and parole violation.
