A Flint Riverquarium employee holds a yard sale to raise money for a trip to the Gulf Coast
Amanda Barber is planning the visit the Gulf next week with three other Southwest Georgians where they plan to help clean up birds.
Barber was selling everything from books to shoes for under a dollar. Dozens of people came by the yard sale.
“We’re going to use all of the funds that we make to help fund travel expenses to the Gulf Coast and we’re excited to help where we’re needed. We’re hoping to rescue some animals” says Barber.
