ROTC students get hands on training at the MCLB

Some Dougherty County students get a taste of life in the Marine Corps.

The Dougherty County High School Marine ROTC practices their shooting skills at the MCLB's shooting simulator.  Cadets say the ROTC program prepares them to enter the military after graduation if that's what they want to do.  Cadet Shannera Anderson is joining the army and plans to leave for basic training on June sixth.  She says she will be better prepared for the military because of her experience with the ROTC.

While these Cadets are only Sophomore's, it's very possible that they could be serving our country overseas in just a few years.
