Not as many vendors came out for the show this year due to the economy

There are a lot of train enthusiasts in southwest Georgia, and they could all be found at the Flint River Model Train Show.

The Knights of Columbus building on Gillionville Rd. was home to the train show once again this year. There are not as many vendors as in past years, officials say that's due to the economy. However, that didn't stop Josh Valdez from joining his dad in setting up their model train and participating in this year's show.

The train show wraps up Sunday and runs from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
