(AP) -- Democratic Attorney General candidate Ken Hodges says he would create a new civil rights division if he is elected.  Georgia does not currently have a civil rights division.

Hodges says the office would focus on fair housing, employment, disabilities, religious freedom, racial profiling and stopping predatory lending. 

Hodges served as Dougherty County's district attorney for 12 years and is a board member emeritus of the Civil Rights Institute in Albany.
