Many Southwest Georgian’s are clearing out their homes during the Holidays and local thrift stores say they appreciate the donations
The Albany Advocacy Resource Center Thrift Store on Pine Avenue says they’re receiving more donations and that every item brought in has the potential to help someone in need.
Joyce Creswell works for the Albany ARC Thrift Store and says whatever people donate can enable the Advocacy Resource Center to help someone fulfill a need. “We accept clothes, shoes, books, furniture, just about anything” says Creswell.
The Albany Advocacy Resource Center Thrift Store is located at 901 Pine Avenue.
