A train derailed early Wednesday morning in Albany, but no one was injured.

The Georgia and Florida Railway train derailed around 4:00 a.m. after crossing the rail bridge over the Flint River. 70 cars were transporting grain to the ethanol plant in Mitchell County when the last seven cars jumped the tracks. No official word on what caused the derailment, but engineers say it was a rail failure.

They worked most of the day to get the train back on the tracks.
