Honor could bring more patients
Palmyra Medical Center announced that the Bariatric Institute of Southwest Georgia has been named a Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence.
The institute has conducted over 900 lap band surgeries since it started in 2002. The hospital had to make sure they were equipped and knowledgeable on the bariatric patient and the special needs.
Palmyra expects the volume of people who are interested in lap band surgery to increase dramatically.

I think the story was great!!! My wife & I have been working to get the same thing done. It's good to hear good positive stories for people who have been threw the same thing.
