Indicted former Downtown Manager Don Buie will have a hearing next week to decide where he will face trial.

Buie will have a change of venue hearing Wednesday, November 25 at 9:30 a.m. in the Dougherty County Jail. That’s where Buie is being held without bond for 12 felony charges including theft and conspiracy. Buie and three others were named in a 17-count indictment in October. Buie’s lawyer Johnnie Graham filed the motion and a Superior Court judge will decide whether or not Buie can get a fair trial in Dougherty County.

Buie’s ex-girlfriend Nicole Brown, his wife Shanon Buie, and former downtown Dollar Square Owner Tim Washington are also facing charges related to Buie.
