Sherwood Baptist Church announces its plans for its fourth movie.

The next Sherwood Pictures movie will be called “Courageous” and will focus on four sheriff’s deputies here in Albany. Co-writer Alex Kendrick says the film will focus on fatherhood. They expect to begin filming in spring 2010. Right now Kendrick says they’re still writing and casting the film.

The church’s most recent movie, “Fireproof” starring Kirk Cameron, was a hit across the country and brought in $4 million dollars its opening weekend.
