A suspected gang member admits he is the leader of an Albany gang.

22-year-old Michael Williams took a plea deal Wednesday for lying on the stand at a 2008 hearing and getting his fellow gang members to lie. Prosecutors say Williams is the leader of the West Side Rattlers. Williams is charged with perjury, subornation of perjury, and gang participation.

He will be sentenced at a later date.
