Alabama authorities have arrested a man who failed to register as a sex offender in Dougherty
Sheriff Kevin Sproul first told you about 31-year-old James David Bracken in FOX 31's Crime Watch segment October 22nd. Investigators say Geneva County, Alabama deputies have arrested Bracken. They say Bracken forced his way into a home and was arrested on criminal trespass and harassment charges. When they ran his information, deputies found out about his outstanding warrants here. Captain Craig Dodd says Bracken has been living and working in Alabama so they're working with authorities to make sure he registers there.
If Bracken ever returns to Georgia, he'll still be arrested for not registering as a sex offender.
