Don Buie's lawyer filed a change of venue motion for indicted former Downtown Manager Don Buie's trial

Don Buie’s lawyer wants to move the indicted former downtown manager and ADICA CEO’s trial out of Albany.

The Dougherty County Clerk of Court's office confirmed Buie's lawyer,Johnnie Graham, filed a motion to relocate the trial. Buie is charged with 12 felonies including theft and conspiracy. Superior Court Judge Denise Marshall ruled Monday that Buie must stay in jail until his trial.

Graham filed a motion for a speedy trial, but no trial date has been set
