Police are looking for shooting suspects

A Moultrie man is shot during a home invasion.

Police say Seller Edwards the third was shot at an apartment at 324 Fifth Avenue northwest around two this morning.  Two men burst into the house and shot Edwards.  Police have not made any arrests and are asking the public for help in finding the suspects.  Edwards is in stable condition at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.  Meanwhile, the GBI and the Moultrie Police Department are looking for the person who shot at a Moultrie police officer Thursday night around 11:30 pm.  The officer was driving north in the 400 block of Martin Luther King Junior Drive.

Police are offering a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
