A delegation of 20 Chinese educators arrived in Albany tonight.

The delegation is from Hangzhou, China and all have jobs in higher education. They are visiting Albany Technical College, Darton, and Andrew College to learn more about two-year institutions. Delegation leader Bao Paing Han says they want to understand how community colleges help economic development.

State Senator Freddie Powell Sims and Mayor Willie Adams along with members of the Albany Area Chamber of Commerce held a reception for the delegation Monday night at the Best Western.

The delegation will go sightseeing Tuesday and visit Albany Tech Wednesday.
