Parents of children who have "graduated" from the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital have much to celebrate.
About 150 parents were expected to attend the 2009 NICU Graduate Party from 10 a.m.-noon on Saturday at HealthWorks located at 311 Third Avenue. NICU staff and physicians were there to welcome the graduates and their families. There was plenty of cake, games and prizes. There was also a photographer on hand to take pictures of parents with their children.
Families also shared stories of their experiences in the NICU during the reunion.
