1,200 people turn out

Nearly 1,200 people, slightly less than last year, packed the Miller Murphy Howard Building in Perry, Georgia.  Four Georgia legislators, including Congressman Sanford Bishop served as the panel speaking to local chamber presidents and other local business leaders.

The “Good Life City” was represented as Albany Area Chamber of Commerce President Catherine Glover who stressed the importance of this event.

“The last thing we need to do is to walk away from this full and happy from a good lunch and have absolutely no strategic goals in mind.  The best thing, and what we’re hoping to bring back are some goals, objectives that our community, our chamber, our elected officials can implement to help our community acquire the means to thrive,” said Glover.
