The Flint River is said to be the second most endangered river in America

Some folks at the RiverQuarium are learning how to take water quality samples from local rivers.

Participants Wednesday got valuable information for a test they will take to get certified. They can then "adopt a stream" and use knowledge gained today to measure things like the P-H balance, temperature, oxygen and check water for pollutants. They can take that information to see how healthy the water is around southwest Georgia.

Later, they took samples from the flint river, which is said to be the second most endangered river in America.
