Library design is approved, but with some discussion

Lee County Commissioners voted to an agreement with SRJ Architects for the design of the new Lee County Library and Conference Center - but with some discussion

Concerns were brought up about the proposed 5.5 million dollar design and the designated 4 million dollars that the county has for the building.  Though no final decision has been made about the design, others thought the new conference center itself would raise revenues in the county.

Meanwhile, commissioners finalized their budget for next year, passing amendments that would take $263,000 out of contingency and move it to the general fund.
