The new Miss Atlanta stopped by the “Good Life City” today.
Rachel Evans is touring every children’s hospital in Georgia and today she visited Phoebe Northwest. The Children made their own crowns with self-esteem related words pasted on them, called “Crown Crafts”. Evans say her career ambition is to become an art therapist; she says art is an escape.
“Anything you can do to take a child’s mind off a treatment that might uncomfortable that they may be receiving. Art has a way of taking your mind somewhere else and I think that’s a really important thing that I have the talent to do to share with these children,” said Evans.
