Former President Jimmy Carter celebrated President’s Day by giving a speech at the Plains High School Museum.

President Carter was accompanied by his wife and former First Lady Rosalynn Carter.  The 39th President reminisced about his four years in the White House and talked about the prospects of the new administration of President Barack Obama.

Carter says he supports the economic stimulus package and anticipates that it will be another 6 to 9 months before the economy starts to recover.
