(AP) -- Authorities say Gregg Allman is upgrading security at his home in southeast Georgia after burglars stole a pistol, a collection of silver dollars and unreleased live recordings from the Allman Brothers Band singer.
Detective Mickey Sands of the Bryan County Sheriff's Department said authorities have charged a man and woman in the burglary at Allman's home in Richmond Hill, about 20 miles south of Savannah. Sands said all of Allman's stolen property was recovered except for a handgun, which the suspects sold. The 61-year-old was out of town when the burglary happened
December 27th.
The sheriff's department said 27-year-old Craig Matthew George and 19-year-old Brittney Ann Sahlberg, both of Richmond Hill, have been charged with burglary.
