The Dougherty County District Attorney’s office will be prosecuting two murder trials in the month of January.

The trial of 18-year-old Vincent Soilberry starts on Monday with jury selection.  Soilberry has been indicted for murder, felony murder and aggravated assault in connection with the May 2 beating death of his girlfriend’s 3-year-old son.  On January 12 the Motel 6 murder trial gets underway.  Prosecutors say that on the night of November 29, 2007 Brandon Todd was shot to death in a botched robbery attempt. Three teens have been charged with Todd’s murder.  A fourth teen who police say was involved in the robbery was fatally shot by Todd in an exchange of gunfire.

The trial of Bobbi Antonio Davis which was originally scheduled to start on January 5th has been pushed back to March because of scheduling conflicts.
