Over 2,000 people were given coats this winter.
ALBANY,GA. -- People needing warm coats this winter were pleasantly surprised by the generosity of the Albany community. The Albany "One Warm Coat" drive collected over 1,000 coats this year - bringing the total for the two-year coat drive to over 3,000.
Central monitoring, the Albany Fire Department, local banks, churches, and private citizens worked together to make the drive a success.
Over 2,000 people were given coats this winter.
