ALBANY, GA. --

In FOX's 31 Facebook story of the day, people wanted to know what southwest Georgians thought about the nearly 13 hour long filibuster that happened on Capitol Hill Thursday.

Before the senate voted in John Brennan as the next CIA director, Kentucky Senator Rand Paul led a nearly 13 hour long filibuster about drone strikes.

“Senate time needs to be used towards fixing the economy, helping the elderly, doing what we can to bring the middle class back into the world again,” said Janet Govoni, an Albany resident.

Senator Paul wanted the Obama administration to say that it would not kill an American citizen on U.S. soil without due process.
