Georgia Peanut Commission issues 2012 report

Eric Prostko, a professor and weed specialist at the University of Georgia, was responsible for a project dealing with off target movement of pesticides from other crops into the peanuts. Prostko is looking at a product called Q4D, and said this is a product that may be used a lot in the future because his research has found that if there is movement of this pesticide, there won’t be any undo effects on the peanut crop.  / Courtney Highfield
