The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) reported today that the state's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was unchanged at 10 percent from August to September. The rate was 10.1 percent in September 2009. This is the 36th consecutive month Georgia has exceeded the national unemployment rate, which is currently 9.6 percent.
