(AP) -- South Georgia authorities say a possible tornado has destroyed a mobile home and injured one person inside.

Wayne County 911 director Shani Hires said the storm hit about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the middle of a severe weather
front moving across that part of the state.  She was not sure of the condition of the injured man, who was thrown from the mobile home.  She said the storm downed trees and forced an empty school bus into a ditch.  Officials with the National Weather Service will investigate the damage to determine whether it was caused by a twister.

Wayne County is near the Georgia-Florida border.
