Albany Police responded to 1600 11th Avenue Friday where Rosa Harris told Police that someone poisoned her two dogs, one a rottweiler and the other a pit bull.

A resident who lives at 1600 11th Ave. want his identity revealed but told FOX 31 News he believes the people who killed his dogs came through the back yard and mixed the poison with the dog’s food.  He said the pit bull died almost immediately after eating, while the rottweiler, which they’ve owned since 1997, took longer to die.

He said that some people in his neighborhood might have had a problem with the dogs.

The case was forwarded to investigations.

Cowardly people go after the dog instead of facing the owner..I'm so sick of this crap. People need to grow balls and face up to the issue, not take it out on the dogs, what did they do.
