ALBANY, GA --
It was an emotional day for Georgia Pecan Company owner Scott Craft as he cut the ribbon to unveil his new and improved store on Tuesday.

Craft and his wife Janice have moved from a 3,000 square foot building to a 50,000 square foot store complete with a porch.

The bigger space also allowed the couple to triple their workforce and give many locals a chance who haven't been able to find employment.

Craft held back tears as he thanked everyone who made the upgrade possible and says he's dreamt of this day since he was little.

The company who has their own farms also buys pecans from across the nation to sell in a variety of ways, from their true form to pies and fudge.
