Bonds boost financial stability of Phoebe

ALBANY, GA -- The Hospital Authority of Albany-Dougherty County has approved the sale of bonds totaling $100 million to the general public through underwriters for Phoebe Putney.

Officials with the board said the bonds were sold them to underwriters and brokers such as Morgan Stanley, Bank of America, Merrill Lynch, and Raymond James and Associates.

This will insure the financial stability of Phoebe according to officials with the board..

The bonds are sold in $5,000 increments and can be acquired by the general public through one of underwriters that purchased the bonds from the board.
