Clear-Vu torch fuel containers recalled

(AP) -- The following recalls have been announced:

— About 720,000 flame guards on Clear-Vu torch fuel containers, manufactured in China by Lamplight Farms Inc. of Menomonee Falls, Wis., because they can malfunction and allow the containers to melt while the torch is being used. The company has received 35 reports of melting fuel containers and one report of a minor burn. The recalled items were sold at discount, hardware and home improvement stores around the country between January 2008 and August 2009.
