Thursday, November 19, 2009  24-year-old Bernard Sanders is charged with murdering 19-year-old Sidney Bivens. Bivens and 10 others were injured in a shooting on South Fry Street in Valdosta Sunday night.

Monday, June 01, 2009  Valdosta police say they have a suspect in the death of 45-year-old Tammy Smith, a mother of seven whose body was found Saturday morning.
