Friday, February 25, 2011  Assistant City Manager Wes Smith took a day off from his city job to help Lincoln Elementary Magnet School with lay tiles with student artwork on the school walls. The tiles are a fundraiser to raise money for art supplies at the school.

Wednesday, December 15, 2010  Selected student artwork from each Dougherty County elementary school is showcased at the Albany Area Art Council. Parents and students all turned out to check out their masterpieces.

Tuesday, September 14, 2010  Artwork by Alisa Moody, a former Dougherty County School student, is going to be permanently hung in the Dougherty County School Administration Building.

Sunday, March 21, 2010  The club held its annual awards ceremony for the Student Art Exhibit at the Albany Museum of Art Sunday afternoon.
