Thursday, March 28, 2013  The Georgia Department of Labor has announced that Albany's and Southwest Georgia's unemployment rate has declined for the month of February.

Thursday, November 15, 2012  Updated with video; According to the Georgia Department of Labor, Georgia's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate declined to 8.7 percent in October, down three-tenths of a percentage point from 9.0 percent in September while the jobless rate was 9.7 percent in October a year ago.

Thursday, October 18, 2012  Updated with video; The Georgia Department of Labor announced Thursday via press release that Georgia's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate declined to nine percent in September, down two-tenths of a percentage point from 9.2 percent in August while the September 2011 jobless rate was 9.8 percent.

Thursday, September 20, 2012  Georgia's unemployment rate is remaining constant, unchanged from July when the 9.3 percent rate was revised to 9.2 percent.
