The chances of actually dying from a bee sting are very remote. A child can typically withstand over 500 stings and a healthy adult can handle over 1,000. But everyone needs to be aware of the risks of multiple stings.

A Dougherty County man is dead after hundreds of honeybees attacked him. Officials from the scene say 73-year-old Curtis Davis was cleaning up burning brush with his bulldozer tractor when it hit a beehive.
