Being a former athlete myself, I have spent many summer days in Albany (and surrounding areas) watching slow pitch softball games. While the area can accomodate tournaments, teams, and daily games...there seems to be lack in co-ed play. I might just be bitter that there are not that many women interested in playing, since I used to play myself. But it seems as if up north (Michigan) males and females took advantage of the situation itself. I would like nothing better to be involved in a game during the sweaty months of summer than sitting on the sidelines burning away. So if anyone is interested I am a former second basemen with excellent outfield capabilities or I may look to start my own team so drop me a line if you'd like to play!!!
