DOUGLAS, GA --
With Veteran's Day approaching Sunday, students at Westside Elementary, in Coffee County, took time Friday morning to give men and women of the military a special thank you.

Veterans, community members, friends and family attended a special celebration where third graders gave a history lesson about our country as tribute to the men and women who serve in our military.

Flags and cards were presented to veterans from all military branches in honor of their service.
