The City and County Public Works have teamed up and assembled thousands of sand bags.

These sandbags are free for residents of Albany and Dougherty County that want to prepare their homes for potential flooding.

Sandbags can be picked up for Albany residents on Hodges Avenue and at 2104 Habersham for Dougherty County residents.

Officials will remain at these two sites for as long as they are needed.
