ALBANY, GA -- The, "All-Pro Dad's" from the Tift Center, on Tift Avenue in Albany held a community cookout on Saturday for the senior citizens of, "Golden Age public housing."

"All-Pro Dad's," is a group of local fathers that get together once a month to learn how to better connect with their kids and become better parents.

Chicken was grilled up and served to those that wanted it, and officials with the event say this is something simple they can do to give back.

"The facilities over here are so grateful, so thankful, and it's just something simple we can do to show the community who we are, and what we're really about," said spokesman, Bobby Smith.

Smith says the group holds events like this all year long, and it's something they enjoy doing for the community.
