ALBANY, GA -- The SOWEGA Council on Aging, is offering local senior citizens the chance to have their 2013 taxes done for free.

The organization says this simple service is a way to give back to the seniors in Albany, and take one less thing off their minds.

Officials say they hope to help those that wouldn't have the resources to do their taxes on their own.

"We target low income families and moderate. It costs them to go to other places, and here it's free," said District Coordinator, Laura McKinley

The service will run throughout the tax season, and officials say they're glad to provide it for those that need it.
