DAWSON, GA -- Dawson citizens have rallied Tuesday afternoon at city hall to support or call for the resignation of city manager Barney Parnacott.

Some citizens want change in the city and feel that Parnacott isn't doing a good job and want him out. Others believe he is doing a good job and should be able to keep his job.

The Dawson city commission ended their executive session and officials say that Parnacott did not resign.

Citizens picketing against Parnacott are planning a protest for Thursday afternoon.
