ALBANY, GA -- In an effort to support downtown Albany businesses, a local group has been organizing cash mobs, to help pump some cash into the area.

Thursday afternoon, "Albanians Revitalizing Downtown Albany," Invaded "My Sisters Place," on Broad Avenue, and asked everyone who showed up to spend at least two dollars.

Organizers say while it doesn't seem like much, it can still help, "If you just have say 15 people go out and spend $2, that's $30 that they didn't have. I mean you never know how much there light bill is or water bill is, we may have just paid one particular bill," said Haryl Dabney, the flash mob organizer.

If you would like to be involved in the next cash mob, visit their Facebook page.
