Three arrests made in Cordele murder

CORDELE, GA -- Three arrests have been made in the murder investigation of 38-year-old Cordele resident Cynthia Curtis.

Officials with the GBI say that 19-year-old Vascorey Yowe, 18-year-old Jacorey Jackson, and a 15-year-old juvenile are behind bars for the crime. Officers say they started to receive leads Sunday and served search warrants wrapping up the investigation around 6 AM Monday morning.

All three have been charged with felony murder, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and robbery.

Cynthia Curtis was found shot to death in her apartment on West 23rd Avenue on November 11.
