ALBANY, GA --
For some stores across the country, Black Friday will be starting a early this year.

In the Facebook story of the day, you wanted to know what Southwest Georgians think of Black Friday creeping into Thanksgiving, so FOX 31 hit the streets to find out.

"I don't agree with it; cause you know, people need to spend time with their families and people that are working out at midnight, can’t spend time with their families," said John Roberts.

Chavis Lawrence from Cordele says, "Most Thanksgiving dinners are usually early on Thursdays, 4,5,6 o'clock something like that, so you have time to spend with your family but you also have time to shop, but at the end of the day it's an individual decision."

Some stores around Albany opened their doors as early as 4:00pm, Thursday afternoon.
