ALBANY, GA. --

The Albany Exchange Club Fair of Southwest Georgia begins next week and crews have already begun setting up at the fairgrounds.

Many of the fan favorites are back plus a few other surprises.

“This year we also have a monster truck coming back that seats ten people. It sits about eight feet high off the ground,” says Skip Nichols, Fair Manager.

Although there are only a handful of rides at the fairgrounds right now, the manager says come Monday it'll be a different scene.

“They’ll be getting in Albany sometime around six to twelve o'clock Sunday night or early Sunday morning and just as they pull on the fairgrounds, they'll start unloading that truck and putting rides up,” says Skip Nichols.

Some of the food vendors have already started showing up.

For those uninterested in the fried fanfare, there’s the circus. It's one of this year's newest attractions. The act features lamas and white tigers.

There’s also an educational side for those who want to learn about the secret life of the bees.

“We're going to have bees here where people can see the live bees. The biggest thing we're doing here is to teach people about bees,” says Dewayne Pitts, with Pitts Apiaries “There's so much negativity going on with the bees right now that we're setting up to let people know that not all bees are harmful.”

The fair opens on Tuesday November 6th and will continue through November 11th.

If you order a ticket online, you will receive a $1.00 discount. The price will drop from $6.00 to $5.00.

With a Harvey’s money-saving coupon fair patrons can get an ‘all you can rid’ ticket for just $16.00.

On Sunday Nov 11th there will be free admission for veterans and half-price for those who bring their church bulletin.
