ALBANY,GA --
The Dougherty County Library wants to dispel a rumor in Albany.

Some people may be under the impression that the library has canceled all new book orders. Ashley Moore, Director of the Dougherty County Library main branch says that is not true.

The library did have a delayed shipment from a vendor, but that issue has been fixed and they are receiving new books.

The library has had to make drastic cuts, such as lay off staff and close certain branches, but Moore says they would not cancel new book orders.
